Altho these sunglasses are made for baseball players, I didn't see why they should have all the fun of having "Flippers", as I call them. I'm female, and LOVE the shape, feel, coverage of these sunglasses! I did remove the band, and put velcro on the ends, so I could wear the band when I wanted, instead of all the time. I don't squint at all while wearing my "Flippers", and I've had Lots of compliments on them. These aren't 'fashionable' like Versace, but are sporty, like Oakleys.
