Because of specific eye problems I have to wear sunglasses outdoors at all times. The Bolle Vigilante with the prescription insert added was the perfect solution for my requirements. But I have complaints. Vastly overpriced for the quality.Compare these to sunglasses in the ten to twenty-five dollar range and you will see they are of comparable quality. In fact, I have better quality glasses purchased on Ebay from China. The interchangeable lenses are cheap scraps of plastic.My grandchild's toy sunglasses are no worse. The rubber nose pads and earpieces rot, and fall off frequently. If they were just molded as one piece of plastic with the frames, the problem would be solved and cost less to boot, although I would not expect Bolle to pass along any savings. Because of the design of the earpieces, it is not possible to attach retainer straps to the earpieces, so they fall off more often and the lenses get scratched up rapidly, resulting in more sales for Bolle. Can't someone make these things cheaply, or at least give value for the money spent? Until then, I am stuck buying theses frames and their expensive replacement lenses.
