Product Reviews I bought my first pair of American Optical sunglass in 1965 while in the Army. I still have them and they're still going strong. The manufacturer isn't kidding when they say the lens is polished, hardened and optically perfect. My only complaint about the first pair is the lens was a bit small. They improved it with the new glasses and that makes for a perfect pair of sunglasses. You can't go wrong with American Optical. The military has been issuing them to pilots and all other personnel for fifty years. A great value, great service by the shipper, goods arrived in perfect condition.
