I found this product to be absolutly superb. I bought this after my dog ate my soft side case. She can't chew this solid metal case! I also use this case for flight duties, as I must fly with a 2nd pair of glasses, and did not want to risk them getting crushed in a hard plastic case. Case is extremely strong. Not sure what the other reviewer is complaining about, I'm sure if would have asked for an exchange he would have got one. I have had zero problems with these, no creaky hinges, and the liner is good, and I've been using this for two months. In fact, I'm going to order a second case right now, one for my night stand and one for the plane.
